With just one text i forget
moments spent on the edge
fighting back fears i had thought long put to rest
which come rushing back
unbidden
when your not here
faces of futures to far to feel
haunting my desire to have you near
memories linger even though i try to look away
avoiding all the objects that you've touch
and by doing so, changed
my self no less
yet lesser for it still
all reminds me of you
