one or both nostrils

a friend and I were taking about drugs that you snort and he said your supposed to split your dose in two seperate lines and do one in each nostril. I told him that it didn't matter, but he was seemed pretty sure. Can anyone help me out?
 
I'm only going to speak what should be common sense here.
If you share nostrils you give each side a break and avoid putting excessive strain one one.
However, if you want to keep one nostril in excellent condition, you might be best just using the other one and accepting that it's gonna take a bit of punishment...
 
Just from my experience I have come to notice that most people have a nostril that they prefer over the other one. No it doesn't make any difference if you split the dosage up, it's still absorbing at the same rate.
 
Well, if you are snorting coke....you really should switch it up because believe me your one nostril will not like you after awhile...cocaine deteriorates tissue in there or some shit like that, in less intelligent words, it fucks your shit up...so t will happen twice as fast in that one nostril you're using. Expect a nose bleed!
Other stuff it may not matter as much although I switch it up no matter what goes up there.
 
Its all the same but i find with me that one nostril is usually more blocked than the other. So its just a matter of using the nostril that is less blocked.
 
I say split it up. This way you don't have to worry about clogged up nostrails & playing with your fucking nose until it's ready for another line...
 
i say it depends on how much you have.. if you got just a few lines, your better off just railing it all thru the same hole... if your going on a all night coke-binge, switch up or your gonna have one fucked up nostril.
 
I think that it may depend on the cut. We used to get this coke that after a few hours of use, we would be all stuffed up.
 
if i were you id split it.
if you snort too big of a line in only one nostril you will get a huge drip and you dont want that drug going down you throat but rather in the membranes in the nose .
thats why lots of people even hold their heads back after they snort their line...
 
I think it's a personal preference, I don't think it matters if you're doing a moderate amount, unless you're like me and tend to get nosebleeds when over-using one nostril...to each his own.
 
I've sniffed so much blow that my septum, the thing inside your nose that divides your 2 nostrils, has pretty much dissolved and so I only have one nostril. So I guess I have no choice but to use my one and only nostril. I still sniff blow though.
 
i have a broken capillary on my nose, would this be due to the above then? however it is on the side of my nose that i prefer least for snorting. i had always assumed these were a result of alcohol, but then again i don't drink THAT much alcohol. my point is, does snorting lead to broken capillaries in that case?
 
alternation is definitely a good technique. if not, and you are snorting substantial quantities of powder, you are gonna be a sorry motherfucker later and i dont think your nose will be too pleased with ya either. peace.
