I have been prescribed Zyprexa and Lithium which I am supposed to take everyday for anger and insomnia but I have recently stopped taking them with great success, but was wondering if I ever needed them to help me out just for a couple days (in times of stress, my grandfather just died) if it would be "OK" to take them again just for one or two days and stop them again.

I know fucking with medicine like this generally isn't a good idea and I'm going to talk to my doctor about getting Seroquel for sleep and stress, and I don't want to start abusing my Klonopin again. :\ I'm in a tight spot, and help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

While Zyprexa is an antipsychotic and can be taken off and on with some degree of safety, I wouldn't stop your lithium unless you've spoken to your doctor beforehand.

Zyprexa can be used as a PRN, lithium def. not. Good for you for coming off of them, they are not healthy drugs by any means. By the way, there is no sense in asking for Seroquel if you have Zyprexa, they are both atypical anti-psychotics, and Zyprexa is more sedating IMO. Also, as mentioned come off the lithium with your doctor's knowledge, and make sure you don't drop it too quickly.

I know quite a few people that have had good results from Lithium, but I fully agree keep taking it until you see a doctor, you really need an objective assessment on such things
