one more question about oxys...

I'm trying to stop taking oxycodone... (trying to wean myself off of them)...

yesterday I think I took 55-60 mg throughout the day...

today I've taken 25 mg oxycodone... and 20 mg hydocodone and that's all I'll take today...

I have some ativan/xanax/weed I'm going to take to try to beat the mental urge of taking oxys...

I haven't had any physical withdrawal symptoms yet... it's just the mental urge to do them...

when will this urge stop you think? I've only been on oxys since April... (40 mg every day until I upped it since I was on vacation last week and then it was anywhere from 40-120 mg per day)... I try to keep myself busy... and try not to think about it, but it's sorta hard... ughhhh...

PS I plan on starting to work out/lift weights, I read online about it helping the brain start to heal itself by making endorphins...

These are wonderful things to help you pass the time and forget about opiates. It takes a long time to get over the psychological aspect of them but it can be done by staying busy, happy and healthy. I have faith in you friend...best of luck.
