Been fighting a chronic pain disorder for years now.
I went from Hydrocodone to Dilaudid over 2 years ago. Seems like once I went Dilaudid (4mg...3 times daily) , I have no desire to go back on anything else.
I've never tried Heroin, and not ever looking to try it. Was kinda surprised reading this thread - http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/548534-Heroin-or-Dilaudid-Hydromorphone , seems like a lot of conflicting info whether or not D's are stronger than Heroin.
I'm interested in the whole chemical makeup of Dillies , and how they differ from Oxy's and Heroin. Even how they were initially created / discovered ? I've read in places that it's generally considered 4 times stronger than Heroin...but then others will disagree. Wish we could get a strong consensus / agreement here. It's like I wanna know everything about Dilaudid.
By the way, a year ago..my pain doc tried to put me on Morphine Sulfate... And I was practically begging to have my D's back. MS made me sooo sad and was like a severe downer. A horrible downer....it wasn't withdrawal either, because it was only happen when I took the MS. After that episode we swiftly switched back to Dillies, where I still feel happily ever after at. Almost 3 years of dillies. It's like I wanna know everything about this drug. Like if it's stronger than Oxy's and Heroin, how is it stronger...what makes it stronger ? Who initially discovered / created it ? all the technical details.
