Film Once where warriors

Has anyone else seen this movie? It's one of the few movies ive seen from New Zealand and it is awesome. I saw it back in the 90's on tv here and im going to watch it again soon. It's about a Maori family and how often do you ever see them in film? Fucking never. Granted the main guy in the film is not exactly a good guy. He is legit fucking scary though
