I have been on this site reading through others question and threads for years. If I remember correctly, I tried leaving my thoughts on certain threads but only to find out that I had to take the time to sign-up which worried me because I did NOT want ANYONE to know who I was...yes, I'm very
paranoid of family members, friends, sh*t...My 3 kids, or ANYONE to know anything other than what I wanted them to know. So, here I am, still have NO CLUE to how this works but looking forward to finding out how to navigate my way around. I am almost the BIG 4-0 and was just asked a question a few months ago that's STILL Bugging me.. I am in Aesthetics and I was asked WHY DO YOU KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE DIED?? I didn't know how to CORRECTLY answer that, but I really thought about it and I remember that there once was a time that no one close to me had passed. Up to the age 15, not any close family members or friends passed away and I had never been to a funeral. Than after that VERY 1st loss of an aunt, only than did it seem that loosing loved ones,( to Drugs, OD's, or side effects of Drugs) was almost my norm. I have lost SOO many people due to addiction. On my paternal side, We are ALMOST ALL ADDICTS, I KNOW that it's a DISEASE Of The BRAIN and that it's GENETIC.....You can't make me believe otherwise. I am currently on MM and have been for the last 15 years. I hope that there is someway my short but vast knowledge of Drugs can help someone get clean, or prevent one from mixing a fatal cocktail/dose. I want to start hearing about people DYING of OLD AGE, PEACEFULLY While Sleeping.
