After you liquify a fresh bowl and let it recrystallize, sometimes it will “grow” big bulges or archways or a couple times went all the way and connected to top of bowl. I’m no scientist but could anyone make a suggestion on whether that’s good or bad?

I would say its not good. I dont think ive ever seen this. Does It recrystalise white or with a slight blackish colour and as you consume does it get progressively darker? If so this is not good.
Im curious to see what the cause of this is also. In 20 years ive never once seen this happen.

It recrystallizes white just like it should. In my experimenting with it, I was going to say I think that it’s better than if it doesn’t. But I may be biased on that notion cuz after doing coke foilies, when that shit grew or bulged up on the foil it meant it was good ass coke. In fact I have seen this happen.
I have 2 theories.
Firstly the temperature that it was set at. And maybe you angled the pipe without realizing and the wet meth fell down the side of the pipe causing it to do this.
Secondly..... Cuts.
I smoked a bit of "Speed" in my younger days before I realised that it must be incredibly detrimental to your health and I found that it set differently. It also took a really long time to set, like a minute or 2. This is all I can think of.
The fact noone else has chimed in suggests to me that this is a rare and abnormal occurance and probably not a good thing.

Nah ketaman I’ve been spinnin for awhile I would know if I was holding the pipe at a goofy angle. And if I didn’t know I wouldn’t be telling this story haha if you get me on that. As far as cuts I can’t rule it out, but it sure as shit don’t take two minutes. It’s usually quicker than run of the mill goodies. You know what I’m talking about tj7 it’s like a kaleidoscope down there. Some shit you can roll around for hours on end and it never has any legs to it. But when it’s shooting off spires and archways and making caves on the primer, you know soon you’re gonna be finding yourself up on your shop roof replacing ridge screws in a snowstorm sportin a Hawaiian ensemble
