Opioids On pain killers and havnt taken a shit since saturday

Hello, I fractured my hand saturday night while drunk at a night club, some how my hand went into an uncovered industrial sized fan 8o. Anyways ive been put on panadine forte 30mg codeine/500apap which i take 8 tablets a day split into 4 doses. I know this stuff makes you constipated but im worried that if im taking this for around a week and dont go to the toilet will there be any health problems? Last time I went was satuday. Sorry bout the weird topic :o
 
You would be surprised just how quickly your body will adjust to the opiate in your medication. Don't worry, not shitting for a few days will not hurt/kill you. I know some people who have gone over a week without going after getting surgeries and such so you'll be just fine. If it really becomes a problem and worries you then try to eat more fiber or supplement with it. Cheap psyllium husk powder will turn your colon into a fucking slip-n-slide.

there's been quite a bit of discussion on this topic. try searching for "opiate constipation" or similar and you should get results.

you shouldn't suffer too bad constipation symptoms from those doses of codeine over a week.

a good diet and regular exercise are imperative in helping to assure you keep regular.
 
take a cap (fill to 4tablespoon or the 60ml mark) of milk of magnesia and within 6 hours you will be able to shit.. trust me.
