Hi,
I guess you'd say I'm one complicated person. I am on multiple meds in which I will list. I was just prescribed Tramadol and I am worried about its interaction with Cymbalta and if I should ask my Dr to switch to Codiene. ( does codiene always come w/ tylenol?)
Medications (I have bipolar, ocd, anxiety, bpd, high blood pressure , diabetes , neuropathy, pain, etc)
1. Abilify 30 mgs (bipolar)
2. Tylenol 500 mgs (pain)
3. Amlodipine Besylate 10 mgs (htn)
4. Insulin 86 units (diabetes)
5. Benztropine mesylate 1 mg (side effects)
6. Klonipin 2 mgs (anxiety)
7. Flexerel 10 mgs (spasms)
8. Cymbalta 90 mgs (pain/bipolar depress.)
9. Lasix 20 mgs (swelling)
10. Glimepiride 4 mgs (diabetes)
11. Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mgs (htn)
12. Norco (Hydrocodone/apap)5/325 (pain)
13. Lisinopril 40 mgs (htn)
14. Lyrica 600 mgs (nerve pain)
15. Metformin 1000 mgs (diabetee)
16. Aleve 500 mgs (pain)
17. Omeprazole 20 mgs (gerd)
18. Triliptal 600 mgs (bipolar)
19. Sereqiall 200 mgs (sleep)
20. Simvastatin 20 mg (lipids)
21. TraGenta 5 mgs (diabetes)
22. Tramadol 50 mgs (pain)
Yes, I know I am on a lot of meds but I have multiple conditions that my doctors need to treat. My main concern is the Tramadol mixing with the Cymbalta and causing seritonin syndrome.
Do you think that I should ask my doctor if I can be put on Codien instead of Tramadol because of my concerns with ss? I don't want to insult my doc and I don't want to seem like I'm pushing for something stronger.
Any advice
Ps if you would refrain from making comments on the shit load of meds km on I'd appreciate it. I know it's alot but I'm dealing w/ a lot. Ty
