i have come to appreciate
what i get
instead of dwelling on what expectations have been neglected
i have learned that the most important aspect of any relationship
is freedom to change...
rust stained wooden trusses above sing
we were once a tree providing shelter for birds and squirrels and such
and now we provide shelter for you
our roles in this exsistence are constantly
changing and thank god
...who would want to be a tree
or a box
or anything forever?
the real magic on this plane is that the energy that comprises me today
will eventually become something altogether else tomorrow
if i am
equals the energy of me
then from
lover
to friend
to tree
to star
to moon
to sea
and on and on
and on and on...

this is great. reminds me of year 12 physics - energy can only be transformed, it can not be destroyed. I never thought of it in this way though. fanstastic.
