i take omega 3 supplements. and today i picked up these generic weight loss pills. they contain vit Bcomplex, lechithin, iodine, and something else. they say that they aid in fat breakdown. so am i not gonna get the benefits of my omegas, or will it be more beneficial since it will help breakdown the fat and get the most out of it?

just curious. thanks.

Don't worry, your Omega 3 fats will still be just as beneficial as if you do not take the other pills.

Beware of any weight loss crap. It is probably does not work and is unhealthy. I looked at one once that decreased lipid absorption, which also decreases absorption of lipid-soluble vitamins (all but Bs and C).

^hey there. its just composed of B vitamins, iodine, lecithin, and apple cider vinegar. isnt all that stuff pretty good? i dont think any of those decrease libido, do they? and i havnt heard that any of those decrease absorption of lipid soluble things, but please fill me in if you have! thats why im asking questions.

How much did you spend for it? Generally I just by all the stuff seperate and take them all at one time, it seems cheaper.

5 bucks for 50 caffeine pills, 10 bucks for all the B vitamins 3,6, and 12 anyways and 8 bucks for some yohimbine. This usually lasts a couple months and always seems cheaper than a "supplement" that may or may not contain the right amounts of stuff.

In that case, it is probably is not detrimental. I have no idea as to its efficacy though.
