Someone was taking a high H dose after a large purchase. This person then obtained some omega three supplements and consumed them. His pupil size began to increase and he began to have chills and intense lethargy an hour after consuming the Omega-3 fish oil. Re-dosing on the H did not improve the situation.
The first time this had happened to him, he had taken multiple vitamins so he could not determine the source. But this time only fish oil was taken.
This inspired research of scholarly sources. None relating Omega-3's or 6's to opiate antagonism could be found. BUT articles discussing the potential of Omega-3s to INCREASE nerve pain were discovered.
Now the researchers hypothesized different reasons as to why this might be happening, but understandably, none of them concluded anything about the opiate receptors, as the opiate system is not currently associated with omega-3s.
I must conclude then, that they may b e mistaken on the mechanism which omega-3s increase nerve pain; that it is actually some form of opiate antagonism.
Then again, this is anecdotal self-study and could be the result of a unique biochemistry...But I'd love other peoples opinions.
