I used to be heavily involved in the Rave seen in southern california from like, 99-02. I have taken many kinds of pills. My first was a White Mitsubishi at Earth dance. Then Green Nike's, Green Triangles, 007's , Blue Dolphins, Red Roses, White Buddahs..etc. When I took any of these, it was like opening a doorway to heaven and jumping in for a few hours. And the only good ones were imprinted pills. I haven't been floored into an "E" puddle in seven years. Can someone who is old school fill me in.

Well there's a big discussion thread on this http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/631070-How-we-rolled-in-the-90s-when-the-pills-were-super-strong, but it mostly pertains to Euro pills from 91-95. Thereafter quality dipped.

From what everyone says, the conclusions (or speculation are)

- less amphet
- change in the salts within the MDMA
- change in isomers
- possibly MDA with MDMA was in the old pills given it serious kick

No chemists have come back and said, but then we'd need a chemist who knew the old skool pill formula and compared it to the new

A big change in todays Euro pills is duration - 2 hours max, more like 90minutes. This makes economical sense as the base price for a pill can't move much, basically they are engineered for a short half life - you need 3 pills for a solid 5-6 hour night out. Old pills it would be 3hours min, maybe 4 hours. Amazing Dutch pills from the last 10 pills keep you going all night. I am guessing this is like the same principal of every new product when it comes to market - make it really high quality and charge a decent price. Then as the market gets bigger, drop quality and lower price due to the increased competition.

I hear those Chinatown Mints are the best in the USA.
