I've been lurking here for a couple of years. As a professional writer, it's great to discover so many different voices & overhear such interesting conversations.

My drug days are pretty much over, though I still smoke weed and take the occasional hydro (if, like, a dentist prescribes them). Did just about everything available pre-1990s at least once. Psychotherapy, the death of many friends, starting a family, and professional fulfillment put me in the (strange) position of turning down all the drugs I've been offered in the last 10-15 years.

Figure when I'm 80 I'll pick back up where I left off and explore all the new RCs. So I consider being here a long-term research project as well.
