Opioids Old hydrocodone

So I recently came across an old bottle of hydrocodone...I believe it was from 2004 or 2005. Are these pills completely worthless by now? Has their potency increased or decreased? Is there a danger in taking old pills?
 
More than likely they have lost barely any potency, pills are an extremely stable way of holding a drug. They should be fine
 
should still be fine, most of the active drug is on the inside of the pill which means its not exposed to air light heat etc. eat em or CWE them if theres a bunch of apap in there
