I got a tape from like 88 which is titled Mutoid waste company, its acid house. Is it related in anyway or just the namesake?

They were travellers who used to go around with spiral and make sculptures out of old machinery etc at their parties, so yes I would guess that tape is linked. Maybe it's a party they did themselves or some dj's that were attatched to them.

I might be wrong about this but maybe it was some of their crrew who went on to become Arcadia.

I'm pretty sure some of the crew from Mutoid Waste Company went on to create Arcardia. I believe Michael Eavis purchased the old cranes for the boys to turn into the massive spider beast. It's quite something.

There's a kid's adventure park near Chester called the crocky trail (http://www.crockytrail.co.uk/) where all the activities are constructed out of old farm machinery. It's a refreshing change from the usual over sanitised kids activities - you'd honestly think health & safety had never been invented.
