olanzapine question

does it take others 2 hours to start to feel the sedative effects of zyprexa when swallowed whole rather than the disintegrating wafers under the tongue

Nah, I usually feel it within 30-45 minutes.

hum i feel it in about an hour when i dissolve it under my tongue but the hard pills that you swallow i don't feel for a good 1 3/4 hours or more

I feel it within an hour normally, I've never been offered the wafers though. It isn't the most sedative antipsychotic on the market but gets me to sleep without leaving me feeling like a zombie in the morning so it is my favourite antipsychotic for sleep and anxiety the next day. This could be due to it being a thieno-benzodiapine.

yeah but for me it is the most sedating ap i've tried out of rispridol seroquel throzine and one i cant remember
