Well i was told that it's bad to eat three hours before bed so you need a cut off point as it's got something to do with it all sitting on you when you sleep or something *shrugs*

Personally, I think placing a time limit for food consumption creates an ugly unnecessary restriction. Go ahead eat something healthy at midnight and go to bed.

so total lost 38.4kg
Strawberry_lovemuffin said:You know one thing I've noticed with losing weight? I thought I had bloating problems with my "Time of the month", my breasts would hurt, I'd feel like I'd gone up 10kg in a few days - that's all gone away recently. Maybe I was just fat and that's all there was to it :D

As usual over Winter I stacked on a few kilos but I've managed to lose them and get back to my normal weight the last few weeks.
However, as I don't excercise I've been doing this with healthy eating, and although it's worked I can't stand feeling so hungry all the time.
I eat a fairly large salad at lunch and by about 3pm I find I am absolutley, starving.
How do you combat this? Water? Snacking on fruit? I find the more healthy food I eat the hungrier I get, does this make sense or is my body just weird and taking it's time to get used to my new regime?
Strawberry_lovemuffin said:Not sure how to answer that because after a salad or fruit, I feel completely full! It's just a matter of willing myself to eat the salad or fruit, rather than what I really feel like, a toasted sandwich or a muffin :D
Are you having any protein with your salad at all? You MUST include an egg, some tuna, some fetta cheese, or something like that, otherwise you will be hungry, no doubt about it.
I've also found that if you don't feel satisfied with a piece of fruit as a snack, add a few nuts (almonds are the best) but only 10 or so at a time.... you won't believe the difference it makes.
Btw, I'm so not advocating a carb-free diet - far from it. I think we really need carbs to function, so on every alternate day I have a sandwich or pita bread or a pasta salad instead of just plain salad. Also I eat carbs after 6pm... OMG WTF!! yes... and I've still lost over 13kg. You just have a smaller amount of rice or pasta or potatoes, and don't add bread into any evening meal if you can help it. I used to have a big plate of spag bol for dinner plus garlic bread... minus the garlic bread and use lean mince, you're pretty right.
