Ok this is weird

I just tested a blue star and a blue round pill with a 24 on it.

I ran the mecke on both of them first.

Both turned black in less than 3 seconds with the mecke.

Then I ran marquis.

The blue round 24 turned black in 3 seconds, just like the Mecke.

The blue star turned black slowly in about 12-15 seconds. It was very gradual.

Can somebody explain this? I've taken the blue stars and I really enjoyed them. Felt like a good dose of MDMA. I haven't taken the blue 24 yet but I'm excited to try it, the test looks like it's a wonderful pill.

I haven't run the two Simons reagents on them yet because both the Marquis and the Mecke went black.

It could be the fillers/binders that are causing the slower reaction times. FYI: someone posted a report on these http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=19097 and stated in the comments that they didn't do anything for them.

Well what is the purpose of a test kit if we can't rely on it to give us accurate results? Since the blue 24 had better reactions with the reagents, shouldn't that automatically mean it's a better pill? And if the marquis on the blue stars takes longer, isnt that indicative of a weak mdma dose or other adulterants such as caffiene and piperazines?

That is weird.

According the little guide that I have, a slowly-changing smoky grey to black Marquis reaction would indicate DXM. But the Mecke should turn yellowish with dxm...Could it be a DXM/MDMA combo?

It could be DXM/MDMA combo for sure.

SWIM had pills that were MBDB/MDEA (or was it MDMA), it was either MBDB/MDMA or MBDB/MDEA and had the exact same reaction with little to no actual effects.

The problem with the test kits isnt that they are unreliable, they are a brilliant tool to find dangerous adulterants, but are no guarantee that your pills will make you roll. Dont get confused on the purpose, they exist to protect, not to get you fucked.

Not DXM. Mecke was pitch black. I mean really really black. No hints of yellow at all.

Believe me, I understand your confusion and aggravation. Testing kits can only do so much...remember, they test for the presence (or lack of) of chemicals, they cannot determine the strength of the pill.

The reaction time can depend on a lot of things, including on how the pill is pressed. MDxx does not bind, so fillers/binders must be used. It could be an instance where there are other chemicals like you mention causing a weaker reaction.

How much of the pill are you using to test? Maybe you are using too large of a sample? When I test, I split the pill in half on the plate, and use the crumbles that are left to test with.

Is there any way for you to test these again and take a pic, and post it here?
