Alright so I just read an article on the health benefits of Cacao.... the raw from of Cocoa. Cacao nibs while bitter are something I have recently become quite fond of.

So.... all these new designers of the 2CI family type detailed by Shulgin are some how directly related back to the 'love chemical' in pure chocolate???? I am new to all of this so this came as a kind of shock to me.

Cacao is very good for you and highly recommended, it has tons of magnesium and many other macro and micronutrients. I am guessing it the PEA's it has in it are no where near as concentrated as the levels found in the fun RC's everyone on here is into, am I on point about this or am I off base, because it never came up in any of reseach on 25I NBOMe.

Just so I know..... can it effect tolerance to 25I NBOMe

They are in the same family of drugs yes
You can buy phenethylamine at health food stores if I'm not mistaken, and if you take high doses you get a gross jittery feeling
It is a released of dopamine and norepinephrine, but mostly mostly a norepinephrine released otherwise it would have a euphoric feeling attributed to stronger stims.
The NBOMe's and 2c chemicals are substituted phenethylamines

Well if phenethylamine is found in chocolate, then the 2C-X series – not to mention everything else in PIHKaL – is based on adding various functional groups to various positions of the phenethylamine backbone. I don't know what the 'love chemical' is, it's not phenethylamine though.

For example, 2C-B is formed by taking phenethylamine and putting a methoxy group at both the 2 and 5 positions on the aromatic ring, the phenyl moiety, and a bromine molecule at the 4 position. MDMA is formed through the addition of a methylenedioxy bridge between the 3 and 4 positions of the ring, a methyl at the alpha on the aliphatic chain, and a methyl also extending off the nitrogen of the amine.

And so forth, all the chemicals in PIHKaL and many more are made by substituting phenethylamine thus. NBOME chemicals are created by hanging a second phenyl ring to the amine, with an extra carbon in between, and then substituting upon that second ring.
