so I wrote this poem for this girl I've been dating for just a few weeks. Now the history between us has been longer than a few weeks with many funny twists of fate that have lead to us finally coming together, tv show like and all. But alas I'm in love with her, and this my manifesto I guess. But I'm not going to tell her it yet, so here ya go
So as my brain so incessently rambles
I thought I'd ramble a bit on this piece of paper,
Its odd ya know to know someone the way I know you,
no words, no cues, just me knowing what's true.
I see my eyes inside of you
I see my mind just as you do
I see such beauty reflecting off of each other, don't you?
It's cause you see in me
As I see in you
such brilliance and amazement
If you only know the way I burn each second hotter from the thought of you,
That we're partners in crime,
And gods to one another,
these things are so simple.
and yet so complicated to convey,
because I don't think I have the rhetoric skills to show you the way,
and when all I really need to say,
for you to understood what I do,
is that simply, neatly, completely, and eternally I love you.
