Oh wouldn't life be wonder full if everyone liked you ?

You should try all hats on before you leave the hat shop

Very true.

In another universe, everyone here loves each other :D

It kind of depends on your definition of love in many ways its an inadequate word that we use to try and cover allot of things, I'm a believer the in the collective consciousness at some level so in some ways I would say I love everyone and everything as we are all a singular.

But on a day to day basis that all bollox and I find it difficult to be in the same room as some people as I am sure some do me, thats the pay off;)

Life would be boring without dislikes or challenges - what benefit would there be to everyone liking you? Apart from fanny / ass sucking ;-b

Do you like everyone brimz?

No not at all n i 'll not pretend to like someone either that's pure desperation.

i did'nt start this thread as a measure of my popularity , i just was pondering what it would be like if it were the case.

Personally i don't think it's possible.

i wouldn't like it. i've got better at this with age, but there was a time when if someone obviously liked me i'd have nothing to do with them cos they were either a fucking idiot or just pretending to like me to get something.

i'm fairly sure i don't want people i don't like to like me, for self preservation pusposes.

Likes and dislikes are overrated imho, neutral as a state has a lot going for it.

Btw: I respect brimz the eadder :-)

Right! Sex without kissing and a studied neutrality to all thing animate. You don't have to be on dope but it helps.

A hamburger chain in Hew Jersey offered a free burger if you burned out ten Facebook friends. Business was at first slow but soon folk figured a feed in the hand is worth ten cyberspatial figments, the trickle became a flood and the offer had to be hastily closed. Sociologists conclude a friend who'd eat you is not a very good chum.

As Kate said; it would be boring. I really appreciate the friends I do have, because they like me, despite how I am/have been. I'd rather have a small group of close friends, than 30 people I don't feel such a connection with. People who fall out with me, due to being controlled by their girlfriends and her standards, knock me sick. Never believe the line 'we'll always be there for you'. Awfully pessimistic, I know.
