So underground means you dont put in all the time to take the nessesary steps. Damn i always had a different idea of what it meant.I guess we have MAINSTREAM shows with underground dj's playing underground music 8(

I dont think having your shit together means you sold out.

Im not sure if you've ever been to one of justin's & mike's shows but they have definatly done there part for the underground scene. I admit this show is intended to be large and is priced because of the extra cost of talent and other expence's. The midwest doesnt see too many shows of this size except in club venues. This is our shot at holding one. Nightbreed doesn't have the intention to continue with show's of this size, this is a way to provide a variety of different atmosphere's and different talent, Although i think most will agree Glasshopper would have tore it the hell up.

Mad love to anyone who has ever made an effort FOR the scene in anypart of the world.
 
^word... but the scene died... let it go... just get drunk and mourn it, cause it will never ever ever ever no matter how hard you try to rave on be the same...

haha... first ill just mention that i never said a word about selling out. :) that's apparently on YOUR mind.

and no underground doesnt mean that you dont put in all the time to take the necissary steps, which isnt even what i said. my point is... how can the party be "SOOO underground" if every county/city official knows that its going on and knows the location of it? using your logic... any crappy club event playin any sort of electronic music (being underground music huh?) would be an underground event.

Well kid if you say so our events are not at all underground. The city, You, and every one else has no idea where it is. I dont believe I or anyone else said that they did sorry if you got confused man. The debate on whats underground and whats not was fun but i'm moving on.

a) its pretty obvious that you were insinuating that this party deserves less cred than oldschool underground events

b) even your tone is patronizing

i sure hope the cops, the dea, fbi and atf dont show up to this party in ohio like they did for the one on the state border.
 
the cops can come... they cant do any thing... the night breed boys kno there shit.. the dea and the cops came to the last one and it was a dope as hell party and nothing went wrong... stop bein abunch of damn tweakers and bein all damn paranoid
 
I get so tired of all this Underground stuff. Why is this such a problem for people to go to a show that promotes it's ass off so that people can come from hours away to hear some good music played by some good dj's. Is it that hard to respect what some people are trying to do to further the lives of those that come to these things. So it's not an illegal rave. So what...they were gone a long time ago and probably never will be around again. We know we can't fight the police so what we do is we try to make peace with them so that we can go out to places like this one and have a good time through the WHOLE night. Hell this baby's running till 6 in the morning. When was the last time you are at a club at 6 in the morning.

Too many people have the wrong idea about who is investigating and shutting down shows. These people are known as the police and thats all they are. The DEA was not at for the ladies, the plain clothes folk you saw or heard about were just detectives. The recent shut down was again the cops not the FBI. I mean come on the FBI deals with problems a little more important than raver kids. The DEA is also busy with stopping major flows of drugs comming threw the country, they are not going to plan an operation so they can sneak around hoping to catch the kid who came up with an elaborate plot to sneek in something. Don't be that kid, if drugs are your thing there are 29 days in june to rebel and do as you will, PLEASE dont do them on the 12th at this show. That is just a completly different cause to take up and were concerned about making mass gatherings of celebration for those who enjoy the music & dance, if you believe your rights are being abused in someway take up your own movement just make sure you don't plan a rally that will stop you from making it out to evolve.

By the way so all of you know get plenty of sleep the night before because the after party will be just "DAMN" =D
 
I am gald to hear that this party is set to go all night because I have not yet gotten to see Simply Jeff and I am really looking forward to it. Also to see him in a warehouse makes it that much better and I hope that Dj Funk shows up proper instead of fucked up. He is great to see when he is sober and I am also looking forward to seeing Hive again. Props for doing the warehouse party.

Every time Ive been to a disco, but that is only because Ive been in europe for the past 8 months.

I will miss this as my exams will not yet be finished, but I will be back later in June for some of the shows planned.

Nice job on the lineup and continued good luck with all of your parties.
 
i didnt see any cops at for the ladies.. i was too busy drinking an entire case of nati ice in like 3 hours... mike d just told me bout them after... i thought he said dea... either way... it doesnt matter... this isnt a hastily thrown together farm party with no permits...
 
this party sounds dope as hell, Hey Devine so whats up with the dual-venue, i read a couple posts back? That would be fugin killer. Hit me up and send some flyers down here to louisville. Im sure i can get some ravers together.
 
thanks to nightbreed for spending the time and money getting the right permits and inspections to throw parties that cops show up to and then have to leave because they aint got nuthin on'm :)
 
Not looking forward to seeing Dj funk A~K~A "The Train Wreck Master" but I still look fowrard to partying my ass off.
