can someone please tell me what happened to Jake and Todd...i havent heard from them in a long time...the last i heard they were in louisville with a huge following...if anyone wants to go with me to see them this friday or next please pm me...and why werent they at funky charms...oh well it would be nice to see them here

I know it's been said all over this thread, but this is seriously a party not to be missed!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck, it's only the middle of April and people are already begging for it! Sage and Hive...can't fucking wait! And let's not forget the CBus DnB Graviton Girl and Scitek! Is it June yet???!:)

props to all who support...we appreciate the buzz...it will be worth it! we go to great lengths to ensure an atmosphere of hugonic proportions so do not sleep on this event! definetly one of my three parties to attend this summer. seriously when was the last time you seen a line up like this anywhere in the MW in the last 3 years save for Zoolu (which killed Mekka BTW)...

however, anyone doubting the severity of this event is surely not one to talk down about such. so, talk shit online anonymously...real fuckin ballsy. if any of you knew the mental anguish and preparation we actually put into something of this magnitude you would put down your 40 of OE and think twice about saying this that and the 3rd about tiny little high school-esque bullshit like "oh, Funk plays cds"...sheeyat! this muh-fuka put in mad time / effort to produce these tracks that MAD peeps appreciate and acknowledge...so what if your girlfriend disses booty cuz its "offensive". gimme a break! make a bangin-ass track and then we'll talk. bottom line: Nightbreed strives to actualize every whim of the midwest underground; basically, you say the name; presto. i'm sick of all this pity-anty bitchin already. somebody, anybody, amass a lineup even close to this and then you got the right to squab. til then, i'm out like strike 3...

As for the Funk discussion... Yes he is a good producer.... but if i wanted to hear a producer i would go out and buy the CD or download the shit... I would much rather see some talented ass DJs such as Godfather or Disco D... And as far as Funk being underground... that is highly laughable... everyone knows funk.. I would rather bring in some OG underground ghetto-tech... But hey it won't stop me from dancing either way!

Godfather would kill Funk in a battle.. DETROIT WHUT!?!!

i think you misunderstood what i said...in my original post i wasn't debating anything about funk not being commercial or underground (i've known that he has been commercial for a long time) so i'm not really sure where that came from or why that comment was specifically directed to me--i was just repeating stuff i had heard from back in the day-that's all. to be honest i would much rather see disco d again or godfather too but i've never seen funk so i'm excited anyway. and all this unnecessary smack going on about these booty dj's needs to be squashed! it's just lame. this party will bang no matter what...let's focus on that.

Im not tryin to bitch about Funk.. I do that enough in my off time... I am just saying that there are more DJ's who are just as talented at producing (i.e. Godfather) as Funk and they can also DJ a whole hell of a lot better.. I would just like to see some peeps bring out a little bit more underground good DJs, instead of some mainstream crackhead who sucks at mixing, and has been to Ohio and the bus plenty...

I WILL still be out there shakin my ass no doubt... depending on who is playing opposite him in the other rooms ;)

(sorry just have to rep Godfather cuz he is my shoo!) =D
