ha... i actually forgot about this thread, but after remembering and taking the time to read. ill respond with this.

a) i dont really care whether or not it DOES get less "cred" than oldschool underground events. i didnt even go to parties yet during that so beloved "oldschool" phase. i just thought it was funny how much they seemed to be using the term underground as a hook to lure interest.

b) as was the tone taken with me prior to MY response.

c) i never SAID it was a crappy line up (its called a comparison)

d) i havent been to an ohio party in QUITE a while... but i have been to parties.

:) im FAR from jaded. but nice try. not too mention i already said i would PROBABLY be at this event.

8+ hour road trips to go to parties, or even just club events... is far too ambitious for someone who's jaded. i go because i want to have fun, not because i want to stand in a dark corner and bitch about how lame everyone is.

and lastly, i think ill keep my mouf zipped as far as divulging my personal opinion on the topic of nightbreed, & the subject of them being up to par as a legitimate production squad...they definately do more than alot of crews in this area, for which i send out props, (including locking permits and other certain legalities) but they surely have not reached a completely professional status yet...as has been proved. im assuming their events and the integrity of their actions shall only increase party to party...after all, i suppose theyre still technically new to this, so a margin for error is to be expected...
just keep doing the damn thing, i suppose.....ive yet to come to a conclusion as to where i stand on this issue, but as of this juncture, keep doing what yer doing guys, and luck be w/ ya...go to this event kids...if for no other reason than to support your local crews/dj's.
 
For those who dont know the good news, heres the deal..... a fourth room has been added to this event. so yes, this event will be off the hook. Jake and Todd1, Todd2 will be happy to know that they are going to in this fourth room. Oh and some really happy news for all of you guys, and gals there will be 4 bathrooms inside and 6 portalets set up outside so the bathroom situation is solved. I think even I can be at rest on this issue. I am truly amazed at this new building. This VIRGIN space is truly unique in its own way. One of the main rooms has a bi-level section in it......... ok ill stop talking about it, just come ready to f***in dance your asses off and have a good time. Weve worked really hard for all who attend this show. Thanks to all for the support and love youve shown us.

As far as how to take the whole "Nightbreed owns Columbus they jus lease it out" thing goes.....don't say dumb shit like that if ya not serious. even if ya didn't mean "owns" by it's definition it's still an insult to us. Alotta peeps in this city werk they asses off for this scene and it's insulting to be completly disregarded jus cause our events are on a much smaller scale. We werk with Nightbreed (or at least try to) on their events cuz they do throw sum bangin ass huge parties that do go till the monin light. so jus leave it at Nightbreed throws great parties....instead of givin them all the credit for the OHIO scene. If ya give a shit about this scene then maybe come see what the other companies r doin on a weekly/monthly basis instead of only comin out when there's 10+ headliners.:p If ya already do then you should know we all make this scene happen....it's called a backbone.....a skeleton.....a support structure...whatevah!
Not one co. owns shit. Without a structure the scene crumbles. That's really all I'll say about that post......not tryin to yell at anyone jus lettin ya know why posts like that....although ya don't want us to take you seriously.....are takin seriously.

have time slots been made yet? this info may already be on one of the other 11 pages, but my computer is so slow it would take me about 3 hours to look at them all!
i can't wait to go to this thing! this will be my graduation party and its gonna rock!!!!!!!!!!!

only 41 one days and counting....this is going to be a great party...this should be the best nightbreed show to date..i hope that everyone is coming out and starting the summer off right....keep it bangin'
