A: got a sure fire ride there and back

B: Know the party won't get busted

talk about a promoter.. this man has booked: Stanton Warriors, the Upbeats, Chase & Status, Keith Mackenzie, Nosia, the glitch mob, donald glaude, dara, Uberzone, Bassbin Twins, Hybrid, Kimball Collins, Aphrodite, Micky Finn, Calibre, BSE, Concord Dawn, Krafty Kuts, The Magnet Men, Trashy, Doc Roc, Friction & Spice, Trill Bass.....

AND THATS JUST SO FAR THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i received deeklines flight itinerary from his agent on monday. he is flying in from nevada sat early evening.
 
HA HA HA get this bluelight fans..... said promoter of this event says "why would you post that my headliner isnt showing? on a message board?!!? obviously there was a date mix-up on that calendar. why didnt you send me a message or message the facebook fan page?!! thanks for sabotaging my event. have fun @ therapy next sat"

.... this after I was helping pass out flyers in Indy for this event.

Why the FUCK would I sabatage a party I planed on driving to and help pass out fucking flyers for you fucking toolbag? All I did was ask for some confirmation on said dj. Where in my post did I type "Deekline is not showing up, don't come to this party." ? And I also did ask on Deeklines facebook fan page you fuck.

All that was needed to say by promoter was "yeah there was a mix up in his dates but all is cleared up and things are good to go."

Sall good..... I love events in Indy. :)

Yeah good job on making yourself look like a douchebag mr promotor. You would figure if you saw a post AND got a private message asking you to verify (nobody ever said he wasnt coming, just asking for clarification, not sure how you could misunderstand that) information about your party, you would do so since it is in the best interest of your party. Especially when it concerns your headliner and if they are still attending.

I guess people still have a hard time using the internets and simple message boards.
 
nobody involved with this event ever recieved a private message or email. we were just alerted to the fact that someone was claiming on BL that our headliner would not be in ohio sat. anyone could understand why we would be alarmed by this post. a message or email would have been nice.
 
Who exactly on BL was claiming the headliner wasnt showing? Can you quote the exact post word for word and by who? Lea posted the header information for the party and asked someone to verify this, not sure how that can be misunderstood and say "the dj is definitely not showing, do NOT go to this party" instead. Its obvious someone over-reacted somewhere, but way to own up and act professional about it. Point your fingers and get mad, its all good dude. We will still pass out the rest of the flyers we have for your party. Have fun and good luck with your party!

its pretty clear. the above post says deekline is in reno on august first. just thought it was odd that someone that was on the guestlist for this event and was in regular contact with one of promoters had to post this on a public forum and not message someone first.
 
will be at this event for sure>nice to see guab is holding down breakbeats in the mid-west.
anybody remember RIPE tuesdays put on by US ent and ALL CITY BEATS?
