it says $15 all night on the front of the flyer. Kind of hard to see with such a small picture, it should be in the post somewhere but its not.
 
i am in eaton at this moment>going to dayton on saturday for this great event>then heading to columbus been living in las vegas since 2005.back for the summer/maybe longer..looking to catch up wit some heads and bang some beats

Why the FUCK would I sabatage a party I planed on driving to and help pass out fucking flyers for you fucking toolbag? All I did was ask for some confirmation on said dj. Where in my post did I type "Deekline is not showing up, don't come to this party." ? And I also did ask on Deeklines facebook fan page you fuck.

All that was needed to say by promoter was "yeah there was a mix up in his dates but all is cleared up and things are good to go."

well i tell you one thing, i didnt see the headliner at the party last night lol. i drove 3+ hrs to go to this party. honestly i will never go to another party by this promoter tbh. the headliner didnt show. i was pleased to see the cover did drop since the headliner didnt show. plus the vibe at this party i tell you was pretty bad tbh.

i will be honest i haven't been to a party in about 2 years. maybe the party scene is not what i use to remember it. people here seem to have been kind of up tight and stayed with their crew/clique. very unsocialable party [which i know isnt the promoters fault] and yet gets on this forum and bash's on a mod because they quoted a different show date off of the headliners event page, to say their headliner is going to show up, and says that someone is sabotaging their event.

well you can call this sabotage if you like, but this promoter might want to learn not to sabotage their own events in the future. i guess the scene has changed more than it use to be. if so well i guess i have no part in it.

yet i will tell you there was some good djs. well the ones i have seen and known in the past. honestly, cyberspeed was the dopest imo. the more emotional sets that i scene. elektrolyte threw down a good set def enjoyed it, which i have known him from years ago that i use to party with.

yet after the immaturity that the promoter displayed on this thread and with that promoter to be completely off of his own event, tells me not to go to another one of his/her's event.

it was truly unfortunate that deekline missed his flight. he thought he could arrange another flight in time to make it to dayton in time to play. but we then received word shortly after our event had started that he did not board another flight. we lowered the cover charge at the door as soon as we found out.

we had a contract, paid deposit, and flight booked. the dj has to get on the plane though. deekline did not

below is the original email w/ flight confirmations for deekline that i received from his management the week before the show. give us a break! truly apologizes on his behalf.

I think it's obvious that he's going to have to play a 00:00hrs-02:00hrs set and then get taken to freshen up at a hotel before heading straight back to the airport.

This is going to be a grueling flight schedule for Nick, so please try and make it as stress free as possible for him, as he hates flying, nevermind rushing around with no sleep.

so this is just some odd thing that he didnt show up. after you sit and say he is going to be at your event. after someone else found out he had a different event already scheduled and displayed on his personal event page.

i mean this sounds a little fucked up to me man. i dont know maybe this is the new scene that we see these days. the mainstream commercialized scene we experience these days.

to me this is false advertising and i should have known not to have drove 3 hours after you had been called out on your headliner not showing. yet i felt the emotion that you had put into your posts that it could have been a mistake on his part or agents part.

i mean there was def some good sets and all. yet i feel a little cheated. to me....well you made an ass out of yourself, in the scene and i think anyone that checks out bluelight in the mid-west region will see that you have. unfortunately it doesnt seem bluelight is the happening place in the midwest as it use to be in my past days.

yet i hope the rest of the scene thats in the midwest does not fall to promoters following the same stunts that happened at this one.
 
Yes the dj does have to get on the plane in order to make it to the party. If you notice the flight information, it shows he got on the plane in Reno, Nevada, which happened to be the location for the party that wondci2 pointed out earlier. I'm thinking he was a little tired after the first party and couldnt make the flight. His flight out of Indianapolis shows him landing in Dallas so that appears to be where he lives or was heading to for the next gig. The agent did mention his tight schedule in the flight information email the promotor was sent, which was interesting. Doing 2 gigs in 2 days in different cities isnt something un-heard of by any means, many have done it before, but I always think the 2nd day stands more of a risk to be cancelled or missed because of scheduling problems, tiredness, last minute conflicts, etc. Oh well, nothing you can do it about it now. Hopefully they will be nice about re-booking.

Will there be a make-up show sometime soon for him? We would still like to see him. Hope everything else went well despite the no-show. Wish you better luck next time!
