OH, Columbus - 07.02.04 Friday Ritual @ Redzone w/Richie Hawtin *REVIEW*

I am looking forward to this event, although I am going to be a little late because of work, but I will see all of you there. Should be a great night and hopefully a good afterhours because there are going to be a lot of people out for partying tonight.
 
What a GREAT night besides waiting in traffic for an hour and a half (and I live in Columbus). Oh well, we (whoever came out to support) had fun, didn't we? RICHIE HAWTIN RULZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! Great sets also go out to Catnap, my favorite Mr. Shapeshifter, & Aria!

P.S. Ms. Arron it was so nice to chat with you! Congrats on the job and the move.

A proper review will follow, but for now, let me just say that this night was a reminder to me of how things used to be, and why I love this music so much. Unbelieveable.

Richie Hawtin dropped some of the fattest records I'd ever heard since I became a techno-head. If you knew me last night, you know I was going apeshit the entire time. If you didn't, chances are you saw me going apeshit...I'm pretty sure I was the only one there with a neck-tie on. But hey, I felt like I should have dressed up somewhat for Richie ya know? ;)

Thanks so much, Ritual, for having him down. I had such a fucking blast. Great sound, great people, great lighting, great fireworks...it was all just great. :D
 
yeah... I saw you. Heard you rather. You screamed right behind me (I was speaker humping) and I thought you were a woman. =) Richie was banging lastnight... much better than his lville set the night before (b o r i n g).

Yeah...I've been told that before about my scream. I'm just being me~!~ How are your ears btw? My damn earplugs got knocked OUT by the bass mid-way though, so I had to just say fuck it. Boy were they ringing when I laid my head on the pillow.
 
Last night was DOPE.
Magda was laying down some really funky stuff that got me in the mood, and then richie just dropped the bombs. Nice crowd, great vibe, and incredible music...what more could you ask for. Thanks Ritual!

Last night rocked my socks off! Richie owned and there was room to dance, perfect combination. I even feel the need to do shout outs because...its RICHIE!
