holy fucking shit...Richie hasn't played in Ohio for what, 10 years?

That said, PLEASE bring in decent sound for this. Burst Audio up in Detroit has done sound for a few Hawtin shows (+8 10 year anniversery for example) and would be a great rig for the size of the Redzone.

Also, I'm not sure if this is possible, but when Downlow brought Richie to Pittsburgh a few years ago, they managed to use some of Richie's gear for decorating the venue. +8 has a ridiculously large supply of fireproof black theatre cloth, camouflage netting , etc. (easily enough to completely cover the entire redzone top to bottom), and considering it's only a four hour drive to Detroit, it would probably be worthwhile to at least see if you can get your hands on some of it.

No matter what, though, this is the most impressive booking I've seen anyone come up with around here for a long time.

I have faith they'll get the proper sound system come show time; no need for everyone to lecture Ritual on where, why, and what for.
