OH, College Corner - 6.5.09-6.7.09 (Fri-Sun) BassFest

i got there @ 600 on saturday.

As I walked up to the "Main stage" area, a uhaul van with all that bass speakers was driving away. Just like that, the main area was no more. Why? I heard noise complaints

The barn appeared to be the only stage to go to. I would guess the 200 people there were anything but motivated to get their dance on.

There was a renegade stage that appeared to be poppin', but I heard they were shut down. Why? I heard noise complaints.

This place was in the middle of nowhere! How in the fuck can stages get shut down because of noise complaints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I left around 1230 due to boredom & lack of good music being spun. Not to mention lack of any energy from the people that were there. Apparently I needed to huge bong full of valuum to get me in the zone. The only good thing about this party was Vinny Bricks.

Hey, not every party can be a home-run. Ill give myself a K in the statbooks.
 
I had a blast. It could've been a better event, but I had a very good time. Cool venue, the little "grandma" at the concession stand was awesome! As I understand it the sound guy who set up the main stage got there before anyone else so he was not made aware that it needed to face the opposite direction. The sound in the barn was killer and I felt 90-95% of the Performers I heard rocked it.
