Monster Mash 2009: Horrorgrind Oct. 24th
It's that time of year again....the weather gets a little cooler, the leaves start falling from the trees, and In the Groove brings another installment of the Monster Mash series.

This year's Monster Mash will be on the boats again. 4 stages, 16 and up and 2 cash-only bars for those 21+, and a lineup packed with solid names from the area you know and love, plus a couple you may not be hip to yet.

As part of the celebration of our ten year anniversary, Jason and I have also decided for one night only, to go by our old names for nostalgia's sake. We also took an extra promotional step this year, and thanks to the in-house talents of Snyder, we are also releasing a promo video as well. Scroll down to the bottom to see it, and make sure to share it with everyone on your Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and email lists!

There's more than enough to have something for everyone, plus we highly encourage costumes. So, bring your scariest (or sexiest?) outfit and come prepared to dance your ass off on October 24th. The boat starts boarding at ten, music starts shortly after. We'll cruise the dark waters of the Ohio until roughly 2-2:30am.

The boats are covered, so they go out RAIN OR SHINE!

ROAR in full effect, do not bring drugs, weapons of any type, glass bottles, your own alcohol, or a bad attitude, unless you happen to be dressed in a costume that requires a bad attitude.

Info line: 859.486.9500 $15 cover, bring cash for the bar. The venue is Queen City Riverboats in Dayton, Kentucky. Directions are as follows:

thanks for the date change in the title. I will post the new flyer and video flyer when they get it ready

Think we will probably make it out to this! Havent made it to a boat party in quite some time! Looking forward to the boat and all our Ohio peeps.

Also might hit up Brown County on our way back to Indy. Was thinking about possibly getting a hotel in Cincy for after the boat, then driving over in the morning. Hopefully the weather is a bit warmer next weekend. We were planning on doing it this saturday but it'll only be 50. Not very warm to be walking around a state park looking at trees turn colors. If anyone else from Nap wants to do this, hit us up! Brown County and Nashville are great this time of year.

going to Nashville this weekend son. :p

Hes talking about Nashville Indiana, not Tennessee. There is no scene in our Nashville, just a bunch of old people and hippies living in the woods. Some shops selling a bunch of crap. The town is not big at all, just 1 main street a mile long. You would have better luck going 20 miles west to Bloomington where IU is.
