glad we didnt make plans to head out, was really thinking about it. The venue looked pretty dope from the pictures posted. Any word if events would be held there in the future and why it was shut down?
 
The Mockbee backed out last minit, So we moved it to the brewery on Mohawk (renegade style across the roof and in through the window, all the power in the building was still on), but the day of the sound people diddnt want to do it, (I dont blame them, we had absolutly no right to be there).

So we went with the fortress. I knew we could smoke in the place, byob, it was private property, we could go all night, ect. . ..

Not the most beautifull place I know, but if your a sensitive fancy ass probably dont go to raves. I wasnt about to give everyone dancin blue-balls so I did what I could.



If we had done it at the mockbee it would have been shut down instantly. The cops were right there waiting for us. I told them the event had been cancelled for months but due to a communication mix-up a bunch of flyers got passed out. . ..

So it ended up being a clusterfuck of lawlessness, absolute fucking anarchy, drunks fallin all over the parking lot, people fucking on the hoods of thier cars. .. ..

I had a fucking blast!

And aparently I wasnt the only one gettin loose. .. .

When you put out mixes called "Sugar coated candy snuggles" or whatever. . .. probably dont be fucking around with guys with names like "Hatchet" or going to events called things like "Sledgehammer Massacre".

Stay at home where its safe. . .. or go to wherever the other candy-ass chubby prepubescent cowards are.

See. . ..I've spun at the mockbee a dozen times back in 01, 02 and 03. But they stopped supposting dj events when they sold it, The guy who ownes it now waited till the afternoon to tell me that, "His lawyers advised him against hosting this type of event".

Aw!! That's such a waste of a good venue! Maybe he'll change his mind.

Did something happen there before that would hinder his decision?
 
That spots seriously dead for now. We raged that place out back in the day. . ...

I found out they did a hippy joint with the new owner and I thought,

"well. . ."

And he was all about it, all about it, all about it, all about it, day of: BAM!

. ..and then the police were all over the map-point. Its not like anyone complained about the sound or anything. We were a mile and a half away!!!1



I think someone notified the athorities.
 
What did the cops do at the map point? Did they mess with you guys?

I can understand making it 18+, that's understandable; but totally calling it off?

They were on us as soon as we got to the mappoint. By 9 oclock they were driving by 5 mph staring, trying to be slick parking unmarked cars up the street, like obiously trying lurk on us to see what we were up to. (bear in mind we werent all scared up like we were going to a rave or anything).

The first cop that stopped on the sidewalk and mean-mugged us, then when I started walking over he just chirpped out. By 10/11 they were just circling the block. I was like, "Here we go boys" and sure a shit this blond cop pulls up, hopps out, and says, "You guys having a party here tonight?"

I was like "No it got cancelled, but due to a communication mixup some flyers got out, blah, blah, blah, lie, lie, lie"

I thought "No way shes buying this". . . .but she did and left. After that the cops stopped driving by constantly.

I thought that might happen, thats why I was wrighting the directions out by hand. I diddnt want them to yoke me up and find 300 sets of directions in my pocket anfter I told them it was cancelled.
