OH, Central : July 9 & 10 : SAE presents Back 2 Our Roots 2 *REVIEW*

If you missed it, you should be ashamed! This was an AWESOME party! Much love to the whole SAE crew for reminding me what being a "party kid" is all about. I had a blast and I am glad that I went and met all the people that I did. I am counting down the days till Curdstock!!

All I have to say is thank you to everybody who came with such superb attitudes to contribute to the overall atmosphere of this party. A lot went into making this happen, and it feels good to know that pretty much everyone who came had a good time, because that means it was a success in every sense. The main contributing factor to a successful event is the people who attend it and the attitudes/expectations of those people. Without that, there really is no vibe, no fun, no nothing. The second most important is the actions & intentions of the promoters, and we have been in this for the love and nothing else since day one. We've lost quite a bit on our previous attempts, but we never let it get to us because we have such great friends who help us keep on keepin on. I don't even know what else to say. Everyone I talk to has nothing but positive things to say about this event, and we're hoping that feel rolls over to CS4. Thanks to you all again for a great weekend...

I found another unidentified, dead-battery-havin' cell phone during cleanup. If anyone knows anybody who lost one, just pm me and tell me what kind of celly it is (just to be sure whos it really is) and I'll get it to ya...

I'll have pics up on here in like 6 or 7 days; I bought a disposable camera that offers free internet uploads, so MODS: please keep this thread open for at least a week so we can get some images uploaded for the massive. For real we all had a great time and they deserve to see some pictures. BTW, WTF??? The week before my event & no BL?...geez :p

Special thanks to Donnie & Rob for the surprise (even to me!) DJ appearance. I think that pretty much made up for the djs who didn't show...

I hate the fact that it's actually over; tearing down on sunday is always the shit part of any 3-day campout event, and anyone who's actually done so knows what I'm talking about. Soooou, w/o further adiew, I'm feelin so blue, to part of my crew, my potna thats true ;) ; poo poo on you, Freak22, for leaving me w/ no $ & a big mess to clean up...other than that, I love ya bro...we did it...

well jere that was a nice rhyme but you did get a deposit back on all the kegs and tap. also i dont have a rhyme for you, but i came out there on sunday to see that you had left a lot of money worth of equipment out there for the birds so you could take a couple of girls home. i think that there were plenty of other people out there that could have provided the ladies with a ride! so i was pretty pissed, and again, like saturday i told you when i would be there to meet you and you were either not there or in no condition to talk, so...... if you could not meet when i told you i would be there cuz of some girls i had myself and a family to take to pa and then to va. remeber, i cant wait around for you to mack it with some chicks! PEACE:p

last but definitly not least, im glad everyone had so much fun i cant wait to do it for you again.

^Well, the girls were with adam hawk & company, & I got trapped into taking them all home since I had a van (& I'm such a nice guy) and everyone else was either gone or had their vehicles packed up with shit. No macking there; besides they were underage & I don't swing like dat. Plus he gave me gas money. And about the keg return...ooh, $74...that about covered gas & food & cigs & brew for me until monday. Besides, sorry I wasn't there in your 15 minute window. I made sure someone responsible was there to watch the equipment for the hour that I was gone, took care of the major tear-down situation ("good luck getting those tarps down"...hmph! good luck is exactly what I needed...how bout some help), clean-up, the trustee situation, kegs, taking down the brackets with no bit on your dad's drill, etc. etc. so I hope you had a pleasant ride home. I'm not about to continue a riff-raff discussion that's full of negativity on a message board that's full of positivity, especially since (if we were worried whatsoever about acting/looking professional) it should be handled over the phone in the first place. So call me since I can't call you and we'll bitch at each other about the little shit we did to piss each other off all week. Other than that, like I said I love ya bud, we did it (for the first time in 4 years), and thanks for everything else you & Leah did to make it a success.

And for the rest of ya'll; pics should be up in a bit, and again thanks to everyone for a continuous 3-day vibe so thick you could cut it with a Dylan record...

I spent 2 months preparing for this partay. Strung up a bazillion feet of hemp... prepared a booth... etc. Yadda yadda...

Only to have some fucking punk... flake out on me. Lied to my face... and fucked me and my crew out of a ride to this event.

His lie went something like this:

"Umm Bob, I know that we just went to DEMF like 2-3 weeks ago... but uh... I know I just told you last week we were going to B2OR2... and ALL week I've been telling you it's all good... but see, the ----> BIG FUCKING LIE ABOUT RIGHT NOW <----- the "bushes" on my truck... yeah, their fucked up. So we can't go."

MY RETORT:

WTF dude, I just went to your house like 2 hours ago, and asked if WE PAID YOU AND YOUR GIRL'S WAY INTO THE PARTY, IF IF IF, you were stilll down to go... and you said YEAH. FUCK YEAH even. You also knew we were leaving tonight at 9 o'clock to go to the pre-party. *he had showed up around 9:30pm* and you wait this fucking long to tell me you were not gonna go? rolled-over is from indy and ive been hearing problems of indy kids not being able to make it out. i metioned it to him that maybe indy kids should unite and start car pooling and taking turns driving. they could probally just go in on and rent a van for the weekend pretty cheap. that will help people from screwing people and also it will seperate the people that really want to go and the people that just say they want to but just end up screwing someone out of a ride.

I dunno this camera I brought supposedly offered free prints, free upload onto internet sites, free CD of your pix, and free shipping. Well, I sent it out the day after the event, and I haven't received them in the mail or in the email inbox yet. It also didn't have a "Please allow blah to blah days/weeks for delivery. So hopefully the shit gets here so I can post em, cuz I know the mods are hawking over this thread like turkey buzzards over a fatally wounded groundhog...and all I have to say to that is please DON'T CLOSE IT YET...besides, you guys owe me one since BL shut down the week of my event, and almost didn't come back on for directions etc....
