PLUR is something that kandy kids made up while on massive amounts of chemicals....not saying its good or bad or right or wrong...but i know plenty of indy kids cuz thats where i'm from....IMO, if anything, over half of the OH scene is shady....just an observation. regardless, this will be fun and we'll all have a blast gettin smashed on that keg! and some jager :)

I just gotta comment, cuz most of the time I'm on here being all business-like, giving updates n' shit; plus I don't want people saying "oh, there's alot of posts on this thread, but half of them are the promoters"...bah! who cares? and another thing, I've been somewhat nervous about this event, to be honest; but ya know what, fuck it! It's kinda like a roller coaster - you're scared as fuck when that bitch starts up but you know you're gonna have a fuckin' blast! Anyway...

PLUR. I like the idea behind plur. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. Makes you feel at home; like there's more than just two people out there who understand you. Kinda like the golden rule. And it's pretty much how I've always lived my life, even before I got involved in this 'scene' circa 1992. What I don't really enjoy anymore is the candy plur...don't get me wrong, I love all different kinds & types of individuals at my events, because the broader the spectrum, the better the vibe, IMO. It's just really hard when 75% of your close friends are as jaded as a chinese necklace, and suparollaz are coming up to you all like

i just read everyones shit about plur and i agree with most of what people are saying about most of us were candy kids at one time or another! and i agree that the newer kids may not know all about plur but isnt it all about the unity? and the music? thats what iv been about for almost 10 yrs now and iv seem many diff scenes and there are way to many jaded kids who forgot where they started! im not ganna say im all that diff but i still feel the music in my soul and that will never go away !

Anyone remember R.O.A.R.? Right Of Admission Reserved. i.e. we can turn you away at the door if you seem like a chump. It used to be necessary, and it preceded PLUR. No one had to say PLUR until the thugs swooped in on the rich kids that 20/20 so kindly provided us.

I've met too many PLUR kids that are all "family" to your face then talk shit about you as soon as you walk away. I may not agree with the blunt kids, but I know where they stand.
All in all, everyone has their place in this scene. Let's not forget the need for both a yin and a yang in the world.
