Offshore Pharmacy Delivery

My offshore pharmacy shipped my order from europe (France most likely) on friday the 12th. Usually I get my packages in NY in about 9 days, but this anthrax scare has totally screwed up the mail, so I was wondering if anyone else has delayed packages from europe and if you could help me figure out how late this package is going to arrive. Thanks.
 
yeah, you're gonna see a lot more delays and also confiscated package letters. i'm about a hour away from Bocca Ratone where there was a few cases of anthrax and the mail has slowed greatly. mainly with packages. plus you said you in NY, so expect that.
 
Thanks for the reply. The waiting is really getting on my nerves, and usually I'm a patient person. It would really help calm my nerves if I had a more accurate amount of days to expect, Thanks.
 
I ordered some Salvia on October 2nd from a place in the states, still haven't received it

Ive ordered plenty of times before and its usually 7-10 days, but I doubt i'll even get it before the end of the month
A friend also mentioned something about that they were considering shutting down the mail for a bit, but don't quote me on that
 
Overseas pharmacies always take forever to ship.. a good rule is to take whatever it says on their website, then multiply that number by 5 - thats the shortest amount of time you can expect to wait..
It might have just been siezed though, but yes, these crazy towel heads sending anthrax through the mail (we knows it's them) have definitly slowed things up..

What if some guy were to send a package "overnight delivery" from Jersey to Minnesota? Do you think the recipient could expect to receive the much-needed package? Just a hypothetical question....
 
Sending within the country is a little different. They require a warrent to search any normal package. Now if its a package without a return address and the postage is all fucked up and it looks off, it might be held and then approved for a search. But if it looks legit it wont be searched, they need a warrent. When you have something sent from overseas they can randomly search whatever they want (and do search about 10% of all packages at random) and search any suspisious looking packages.
 
Sorry.. these questions are best asked to your local post office and not here, so none of us will be able to tell you how long it will take...
