Official "Weed has dried up in my city thread"

Well to be honest I just moved to Astoria, Queens not long ago from central WI. I had no problems whatsoever finding good buds in WI. It was so easy to come by to the point where you'd think it was legal there, no lies!

But since moving to Astoria I havn't been able to get one good hookup.. :( Now I'm not sure if this is because of the drought or because my people skills suck? From the sounds of it, it's my people skills...... :! I don't drink and I am past the whole going to clubs and bars scene so it's been pretty hard for me to make friends and hookups. I didn't realize in a city this big it'd be so hard for me to meet people, it's been a real bummer to be honest.
 
Atlanta is always flooded with weed of all sorts of quality. The market is so saturated with dealers its like a buyers market now... the shit is practically a commodity in U.S. cities!
 
It totally depends on who you know and how motivated you are to get weed. I live a little college town and theres weed around but it's pricey. Either that or there is decent shwag for a decent price.
If i was motivated enough, I could take a 1 1/2 drive and get some really really good stuff for standard prices. but I don't smoke so much anymore so it's not worth it really. But it is nice to indulge in some super heady stuff when its convenient.

But yeah, your not looking hard enough. although in my years of weed smoking, i've noticed that there is a little shortage after the summer harvest is gone. still like mentioned above weed is a commodity and someone somewhere would love to sell you a bag. but if you can't find anything growing is always an option.

I think your problem is that the people who can get weed don't want to take the risk of buying an ounce or quarter pound and selling it.

just after Hurricane Ike it got real dry here. which was fine b/c i rarely smoke anymore. still, it was nice to see everything return to normal ie something for everyone.
 
Ova here in north jerz we've got plenty of haze,

but there are no regular white guys wit cars. whats the deal ya'll!!
 
Always good bud in Albany,NY the most common really potent stuff is Haze, Kush, and Sour Diesel, plus got plenty of indoor dro right now and always too over flooded with mids and dirt
 
not really relevant but interesting anecdote

i remember a fews years back about 2003 it was real bad. it also got to the point that cops in my college town at the time were posting billboards brazingly teasing the smokers. billboards said something along lines of "you think its dry this month, wait till next". i always got a kick out of that. at least they had a sense of humor. still hard to believe for me.

hope u guys find a smoke for those that are searching
