Official "Weed has dried up in my city thread"

im having a hard time understanding the weed game honestly.

i live in florida. travelling from mid east to the south west and the panhandle im familiar enough with these locations to make what i think are relatively accurate statements at least regionally...
everyone who sells sells dro (hydroponically grown strains). alot of the time it isnt a named strain but the names (sour d, green crack) do come around quite often
mids used to be easier to obtain but now its the reverse... its hard to find them unless "you know where to look" meaning i know a friend of a friend can get mids or sells only mids but its not nearly as popular as dro

this has left me pretty confused but as long as theres pot who cares right..

idk when i first started smoking it seemed like you could get mids practically anywhere but dro meant you had a good (or rare) connect

seems like mids sometimes get a little scarce at certain times during the year, like midsummer. but honestly i've never had any significant prob during the 25+yrs i've lived in FL.

dro is the new mids..we call it dromercial or "mersh"..just shitty seedless bud.

i can still find regs anytime i want but normally its threw blacks and mexicans.

I think chinky is just referring to shitty bud as in the "dromercial" ... lots of weed is grown indoors now, lots of that is hyrdo, lots of that is overfertilized, not flushed, lung rape "sea of green" commercial set-ups. dro is a word that gets thrown around like "peruvian cocaine"... yeah your coke might be peruvian and it might be really good stuff, but not always.

btw, chinky: I'm liking this dromercial word, and I'm taking it for a test drive (i don't know if I've ever heard it before now or if im too stupid to remember??)

this is what i meant. "dro" is such a generic word but ljust ike "kush" gets thrown around way too much..just because you have really good dank, doesnt mean its "kush"

and TRU haha tell me how it works out but i want credit (at least chicago lol)..ive never heard anybody but my crew of people say it so im not sure if anyone but like the 15 of us say it or where it actually came from. the name came about b/c we where talking about the good old days when the seedless bud was almost always some really good, like great smell super sticky just overall great bud(talkin like 5-6years ago)..now its like you can tell its not of that same quality and that its grown for the quantity..but like i said we call it "mersh" for short.

things in CO are pretty good. medical scene is a fuckin gold-rush. growers are starting up on every damn block.
things havent been exactly lush compared to a year ago, prices/availability is up a bit, but me guy legitamized and went medical so i understand he's trying to protect his business. gotta get my fuckin card!
