Official Vegas Scene Thread

thx for the reply...anymore ideas? we don't mind dress code, we like dressing up

Hey there! Well, this is the week! It's finally arrived! We'll be heading to Vegas THIS Thursday Sept. 23rd to spend a long weekend. So unless anyone says otherwise, we may be doing ICE and RAIN. Any opinions? Are they fun clubs? What time is best to get there? Which one is better for Fri night and which one is better for Sat. night?

I am going to Vegas from March 20-24. I know we want to stay in a hotel on the strip. I know NOTHING about Las Vegas. Can someone recommend hotels for me? I want to stay somewhere clean but fun I need the hotel to be as cheap as possible without going scuzzy.

If you like to people watch and dance to cheesy music and don't mind waiting 2+ hrs in line then RAIN is the club for you otherwise check out Ice on Saturday... Good music, great vibe and just really an awesome club. get to Ice anytime you want and as for Rain, you'll wait long no matter what time you get there. The bouncers are assholes and will make you wait until you tip them.

Ahh! Thanks for the tip to stay away from RAIN. No waiting in line for us. So where do you recommend we go Friday night for good dance/trance music? We definitely will go to ICE on Saturday. If possible, please reply before 2:30 CST today because I leave for Vegas this afternoon and won't have internet access.

There isn't any EDM on Friday nite that i Know of
and there hasn't been for as long as i've
been here.
You might just wanna check out some lounges
for the view. Go to Light at Bellagio for ultra
modern decor or Curve (Alladin) for the view and Risque (Paris) for
the late night desserts or OPM for celebrity sightings.
have fun!

I actually posted a thread about this but got no replies...:(

My question is, Im going to Vegas for Halloween and want to know if anyone has been there before for this holiday or plans to go this year. I looked up Halloween parties but really couldnt find any definite ones except the Fetish Ball which is way too expensive for me! Im hoping it will be a blast since everyone should be dressed up, this should be entertaining.

Any comments appreciated!

Ferry Corsten at Ice on Saturday 10/30

I'm sure there will be more events, i'll keep u posted.

Thanks nitelife! Im definitely going to check that out. So most of the reviews Ive read about ICE have been pretty good, do they play hip-hop or just mostly house/trance? Is it true they have 6 rooms or have I been mistaken?

nitelife... off the top of your head, do you know of any vegas clubs that have less wardrobe restrictions? I fucking hate dressing up like a club kid...

We go out pretty much every weekend. So far Ice has been best (saturdays).
This Friday we are checking out Krave. Heard it was incredible and the music was awesome this past opening weekend.

^^^Yeah thats what I heard.

So I know every one is bashing Rain, but is it any good for the Halloween parties that they throw? Geez, Ive reaad so many reviews that say the music they play is so lame, is it really that bad?

How strict are they on admission/attire at Ice? Im going to be in town in May and Id prefer to save my money and not buy tickets if they're presumptious assholes at the door.

not strict at all. i always see ppl with tennis shoes and t-shirts inside the club but the majority are well dressed esp ladies :)
