It could of looked like a blank page, but everythign could of been white (ie: white lines).

Try export it as a different format. I always have problems with EPS's. Try as a DWG, i know Illustrator can open DWG's but they're quite annoying because everything gets exploded (a curve will become hundreds of seperate small lines).

Basically it doesn't matter if it's a Mac or PC. As long as the program can open/import the file type, your cruising!

If I were you, I'd get the said person to email say 3 different formats. DWG, DXF and EPS maybe.

See how that goes.

Goto tools/options and under the "Sign In" tab. Theres a 'Automatically run messenger when I log onto windows".

Make sure the box is unchecked.

Also, the box under that "allow autmatic sign in when connected to the internet".

hello

i have recently purchased a I-Trip... for my I-Pod !

( I-trip makes it possible for your I-pod tunes to be played on a radio via your I-Trip )

Now this I-trip came with a CD rom, so you can change the pre set frequency..

BUT this CD rom wont work on my PC.. i load it into the disk tray, close disk tray, and listen to the CD spining.. but it dont even do that... all it does is makes a sound like a floppy disk loading ???

And when i go to "My Computer" to look in the CD drive.. it says there no CD in the Drive...

Whats Wrong ????

The CD drive plays CD's and DVD's fine..

The Cd rom has "PC|Mac"... on it so its compatible with Windows eh ????

Windows XP I'd guess.
Try booting up in safe mode (when the first boot screen disappears, hit F8 repeatedly until a white text on black background menu appears asking you which mode you wish to enter into Windows as) to open up the administrator login.
Now you just have to guess the administrator password

If someone installed windows at home for you (ie. tech savvy friend, or the old man or something) chances are the password will be bloody simple. Hell, I use 'admin'. try that or 'administrator'. Or the computer name.

When/if you manage to get in, just change the admin password to something you'll remember, then change your login back to administrator. That way when the olds realise you changed your account back, and put it back to restricted, you can unlock it for yourself again easily.
Just have that pesky task of figuring out the password

every time i try to download aprogram upgrade, the server connection is restet... half way throught tthe download... So So annoying

what does this mean ?

is it my shitty slow internet ?

or the source of the upgrade ?

Can i do anything about it ?

could be the server but more than likely your scenario is as follows:
you have dialup with a shitty company and ate trying to download a software upgrade that is like 10MB through the software's built in client

my sugesstion is see if u can find the offline upgrade, what i mean by that is one you can download, burn to a disk and install on another pc.
microsoft does them although its a bit of messing about thier site to find the files.

i sugest getting a download program such as getright and downloading the files through that. worst case you'll waste 1 min extra to resume the download if it dc's

HELP!!

i have an external USB DVD writer. its a pioneer model of some sort, and its actually an internal model that has been put into this box/housing thing that makes it work externally. (i'll find the online details in a sec and post em, so you know what im on about)

anyway, yesterday it stopped working, (im running windows XP) and i started getting messages whenever i plug it in that say "USB device not recognised/maybe not working properly" - something to that effect.

BUT

it DOES work on my girlfriends computer (also win XP)

im no where near what i used to be with computers so i really dont know what im doing or what could be wrong.

please help!
