How fucking awesome is this?
Not as awesome as a Pink floyd performs the walls over several american cities, but still pretty awesome.

It makes sense that he is doing this, in 2008 (I think?) he did a dark side of the moon tour. That tour came to my town but I didnt manage to see the show. :(

Maybe I'll be able to catch the wall

The moody Blues sound the exact same as they did.
Jon Anderson from yes still sings well.

Roger waters sounded okay during the dark Side show. Although, his role was more bass than vocals. So here i dont know how he ll do.
But its the only chance young people have to see these people before they are all gone. Its like going to see Beethoven then versus some guy doing his stuff now.

I think for the sake of being able to see some of the greats live is worth going, not exactly that they are in their pinnacle now. If you are a big Pink Floyd fan, especially young, I dont see why you would not want to go.

Pander, I doubt you have seen every classic rock, or older musician live to say who still does well and who does poorly.

Have you seen the Moody Blues live?

This sounds pretty cool.....it'll be interesting to see how well the album is translated from studio to concert.

A couple years ago I saw one of the Dark Side of the Moon shows that someone else mentioned.....it was pretty darn cool [: Hopefully this tour will be as good or better.

And David Bowie - he's the same age as Iggy, and last time I saw him he was energetic enough. Leonard Cohen's 72 and while he doesn't leap around the stage, he's playing long sets night after night at an age where he should be in bed with a cup of cocoa.

Anyway on topic, I have zero interest in seeing Waters or Floyd, but it is kinda awesome for all the younger Floyd fans who never thought they'd get the chance, so yay for them :).

tbh, i'd rather see a tribute band. it'll be closer to the band at their height than the band itself.
