⫸STICKY⫷ Official "I CANT POST" Megathread....with Mega-answers

I need a mod to validate me as well. Been waiting over a whole day since submitting my activation code. Said I was in queue for moderation to validate.
 
It would seem as if this forum was about immediate questions, queries? Waiting for validation while you are worried seems counter productive
 
Dude, you waited 3 minutes. Most people have a life. There isn't a robot that can reply instantly.
 
I've tried several times to activate my account, but I haven't received the email required to do so.

It looks like your account has been activated. Did you find the email, and if so, where was it?
 
When attempting to make a first post in a focus forum, I am told that the post will need to be approved before becoming visible on the thread. I have attempted more than once to post the same thing, and have waited over 24 hours on each before attempting again. However, the posts never show.

And the post does not contain anything that is breaking any rules of the forum, that is known for sure. Any help on this?
 
what happened is your posts were caught by our spamshield. it is most likely a combo of your IP address and the fact that your first post contained a link.

I just joined and dont really understand where or how to post questions i have, could you give me some step by step directions? thanx :)
 
Well, what questions do you have exactly? We have many different forums, each of them catering to a different type of topic. Without knowing what information you're looking for, we can't steer you in the right direction.
 
I answered a similar question so I'm just going to quote my answer from the other thread.

As for how to post, do it the same way you did here. When you find the forum that you want to post in click the
newthread.gif
button that you see on the left hand side of the page, just above the other threads.
 
It seems that all my posts still receive the, "Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting" message every time that I submit a message. I am using Tor, and as animal_cookie had suggested above, my first post contained a link (a Bluelight link) and the spamshield may have blocked the post because of the link in the post & the IP address combo. I have attempted posting regular rule conforming posts (with no links) since then in a focus forum, but keep receiving the same aforementioned message. But even after days pass, the posts still do not become visible. The only reason some of my posts are visible is because animal_cookie was kind enough to manually approve them after PM'ing.

Any ideas on how to allow my posts to submit in the regular fashion?
