what do you have against scott (infiniti)?

he can produce and mix better than anyone you know, i promise that

so many different styles of breaks. you can't compare tipper to simply jeff to phil k, etc. their styles are so dramatically different.
plus, you won't see tipper doing big room sets, while the others are much more floor oriented.

tipper is meant for lounging, thinking, and smoking dope. that's why w33k jocks him;) (i checked him out live a few months back, btw - almost put me to sleep....)

As for my favorite breakbeat dj(s) - Atomic Hooligan does it for me on a international level - funky, electro, hip-hop, nu-skool pshidt. tight productions and a really nice track selections from these two.

local favorites of mine are Miss Bliss and Sarah Walker. Lovely fems throwing down the goods.

sin- you're wrong about tipper rockin it big room style. a few years back he played the best break beat set i've ever heard. granted it wasnt in a big room, rather a big forrest ;) the sound was however the big room sound you speak of. lately it sounds like he's kept it toned down. he rocked it last time i saw him here sometime last year.

i missed his Surrounded record release party last friday on a 5.1 sound system. i'm kinda sad bout that. he is spinning again this thursday and i'm hoping i can get out there to see him. i think i may even drag w33k along for it. :)

w33k4p4u9, no one was trying to one up Tipper..QtAngel just asked about stuff similar to Baby Anne, DJ Trashy, etc...everyone was just suggesting the like. I totally dig Tipper. He kicks it.

And Sinthetic, fuck yeah to Atomic Hooligan and Miss Bliss..I can't wait to see her in august. I'm so pumped. You're so lucky that she's a local for you! Sarah, too! :)

i caught him in a very intimate bar/lounge - his set was VERY experimental, bordering on blip bloppy electro. i'd love to check him out on the 5.1 - heard many, many good things about this set-up and his approach to the live performance. does he play out there live much? it was a rare occassion for his stop here.
