Official Amsterdam/Netherlands Questions Thread

They dont do it anymore. Because it's too expensive and didn't really help people. You can get them tested before at specific locations now (don't know where). Apparently some politics were also involved in stopping this practice.
 
i am wanting to move out to amsterdam and start work, i have a few different qualifacations, but most jobs i am looking for want dutch speaking people :| someone hook me up ??

im just back after a wend there and a large amount of bars and a few resturants had staff wanted signs on there doors/windows.
this was in the Dam square and red light area.
was also around another square and 2 pubs were looking for staff.
start off with a bar job for a couple of weeks till you pick up another job.
 
Are you handsome? You can be an escort boy too. And you can apply to a phone job too, there is a center in the Dam which is international.

I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend... First time and can't wait! I see from pillreports.com that there are plenty MDMA pills in the Netherlands however realistically, do I have any chance of getting a hold of these? I know people have said to avoid the street dealers. So is my best bet to ask around in bars? I take it there are still plenty pips about? Any advice from anyone who has been recently would be much appreciated..

I don't think it's the exchange rate, Amsterdam is a spending city, you just buy tons of weed, drink rivers of beer, buy truffles and stupid shirts to bring to your mates back home, I also spent a similar amount in 3 days and was staying at a hostel that cost 35 euros per night, I spent all of it around.

I think overall I spent like 60 euros at Burger King, I'm not a pothead anymore, I smoke like twice a year but when I do I have god like munchies, I could down Whoppers like there's no tomorrow.

Anyway everything is expensive, I remember paying a fortune at that Wok place, the one where you select the ingredients and they fry them in front of you, mine came out like 9 euros for the food and 3 euros for a can of coke.

I didn't even buy any paraphenalia, some mates did, one guy who was with me
spent something like 1500 euros.

Also I have friend who lives in Rotterdam and says the weed is much better than in the Dam and costs half the price, he also says pills are everywhere in clubs, mostly in the gabber and hard techno scene and tend to be very cheap, like 2 or 3 euros and he's never had bad pill over there and this guy knows his pills.

Also about the illegal scene in Amsterdam, went to a pub, the only problem is can't remember the name nor the exact location, it was at walking distance from Leidseplain, it was packed with British expats who lived there, as soon as they heard my heavy London accent they started talking to me, they had pills and could have gotten coke but didn't feel like parting with too much money

ive been to Dam lots of times but only recently got into pills.

i was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with street vendors?
i think iwould feel silly asking someone in a club for pills as i am like mid 30s!

can anyone recomend an adults way to score pills in Dam???

i wasted about 45mins on fri nite looking for proper pills.
was offered utter garbage by about 5 different street dealers.

are you going on your own or a group.
i was there 4 years ago with 20 lads,i walked up to a street dealer and showed him all my mates.
told him if he could supply real pills and coke we would only buy from him all wend.
he was no fool and got us 3 different mdxx pills and coke all wend.
i was meeting him 3 times a day and reckon we spent over 2000euro with him.

get a marquis EZtest kit in a smart shop and test before you buy.
get your pill before you hand over any cash.
IMHO you have a 10% of getting proper stuff on the street.

im off in november in a group of 5 blokes, but i think i will be on my own when looking. think im just gonna haft to keep my wits about me and look for the signs. what sort of garbage were they offering and how did you know they were garbage?? im just intreaged thats all...
 
be very carefull on your own.
i noticed this year they only came out at nite and wanted to walk up this alley or step in to a door way etc.
was offered white doves n mitizs,also blank blue-red-brown pills

your best bet is to try a street dealer early if your sober and tell him to see you in 15mins with proper pills and not the shite in his hand.
get talkin to a bar man etc and just take a chance with him and ask if he could help you out.
the worst that could happen is ye get asked to leave.
once again get a test kit in a smart shop-test-check-double check then hand over your cash.

I could never imagine using a test kit with a street dealer hanging over me after I've just chipped a corner of one of his pills off to test.

I'd sooner ask what stamps they had and if something sounds promising then buy one and test it.
If it tests good, buy more.
 
a good chance that you have spent a tenner on a dud pill to test it.
if its a proper pill you have to go looking for the same dealer and hope he has the same pills.

have you tried any other towns around amsterdam like harrlem?
