Off Xanax...what to expect?

I have to agree. If it's been 4 days and you were withdrawing you would be freaking the fuck out right now. As far as taking benzos again my Dr told me to wait at least 4 months then take a benzo as needed. It's been almost 6 months for me and I'll be damned if I'll ever do another Xanax. I wish I could go back to the days when I just played around with Xanax,Valium etc but those days are long gone. Once bitten twice shy.

Well...I messed up. I've been stressed at work lately and today was ESPECALLY bad. It's not rebound stress or anxiety from withdrawals...it's just situational stress.

Anyway...after getting home today I was having a hard time relaxing and forgetting about work. I should have had a beer or just taken a hot bath. Instead, I took a very small amount of xanax...I took 0.1 mg. I know this was a mistake. I'm pissed for allowing myself to digress like this after having gone 4 days without Xanax. Surprisingly, this small amount actually did work to calm me down and allow me to relax and forget about work.

So...does this completely negate the 4 days I have been clean from Xanax? Will it be like starting over and will I be at risk for withdrawals again? I know...I'm an idiot....
