Well I was picked for a case that I especially didn't want to do, but got challenged. Just have to do it again tomorrow and I'm free

Having dreadlocks seems to be a free ticket out of jury duty too. I don't have dreads, but two dudes that did when I got called up for jury duty my first time were challenged immediately by the lawyers. I didn't even go the 2nd time I was called for jury duty, wrote a letter explaining why I couldn't and never got a reply or suffered any consequences. I know I'll never have to do it again though... thanks criminal record :D

According to my calculations it is exactly 24 hours since the dentist told me I couldn't have a cigarette for 24 hours following my wisdom tooth extraction. Smoke time!

And non-smiling, it fucking hurts if I forget and let the painkillers wear off before redosing.

Interesting feeling having a tooth sawn into pieces and cracked apart with a little crowbar doodad and pulled out forcibly in 5 pieces. Oh yeah! Glad I only have to do it once more.

If you don't wanna do it just say you agree with one side or the other, like I wanted to be a cop and I'd throw all those types in jail or I hate the police and I'm gonna try n get this guy off. They then have to dismiss you as you have shown bias.
I would NEVER do jury duty. The systems flawed, corrupt, fukd.

A buddy of mine had got called up and told him he couldnt leave work due to stocktake and having ADD impaied his judgement haha

said he couldnt deal with the guilt of putting someone away! hahaha

Didn't end up being picked which is a shame, cos I wanted to see what it was like. Probably dodged a bullet though because the last case was a people smuggling one and the translating was painfully slow.

Really depends on the case. A guy with dreads got turned down for a drug case but was picked up for a sex case instead.

I find this topic kinda funny I just got selected for jury duty am not too happy about it but have no genuine reason to not do it. I hope it's a drugs case though, the irony would be fucking brilliant.
