So I was out in the city last night and some random dude from England was quoting Trainspotting in an impersonated Scottish accent.

I was so annoyed that I hadn't watched it recently and didn't feel up to joining in as much as I could have.

Wasted opportunity.

awesome mate. I can stare at old pics like that for ages.

Funny how styles change.

Its strange to think that in 100 years time the kids will look at pics of us now and laugh at how we dressed.


Also note that he is sitted and she standing...........that would probably be reversed nowadays.


Also the undervest.......I suspect he didnt wear that to often...lol.

I recon that the thin coverage of hair in the mustache area must be a genetic thing passed on. It's like that for me and my dad too, crappy mustaches.

It's uncanny some of the similarities. Big hands, and their hair is exactly what my dad's has always been like.
 
I love that photograph!

I also enjoy the fact that people dressed up to have a photograph taken but has anyone else noticed how the clothes never really did fit right back then?
 
Actually i have to admit that i did get dressed up for a photo of all us kids we gave to Mum and dad for there 50th wedding anniversay recently.

Other than work shorts and shirt my usual attire is board shorts or cargo pants and from time to time a tank top or extremely religious tee shirt. (hey, its comfortable)

I will usually wear a name pair of jeans and collared shirt to go out dining in.

Others would call me a slob but I call it feeling comfortable. Why should I feel uncomfortable just to make somebody else think Im something Im not?



Klue, The dude on the left has the same look on his face that i would expect my mother to have if she caught me with my feet on the furniture. Damn i can feel her hand upside my face right now.

hahaha I dunno, to much clothes.

I dont wear much at home any time of the year, even in winter I have a warm fireplace so keeping the temp up is not hard.

The less i wear the more comfy i am.

^ February is going to be a killer bro. The old blokes are saying because we are having a bumper mango season (because of a dry spring), that we are going to have a wet, hot and humid feb.


I am stoked because I discovered I can buy my favorite underwear online.
 
If you find out a way, let me know! I usually just accept and then hide all their activity.
 
I just checked my voicemail and there all these messages from my mum saying that she received the flowers and she really appreciates them. I have no idea what she's talking about.
