Well, I'm new to both this forum, and the drug scene in general.
I'm an interesting case, but definitely not unique. I was always the smart kid, the educated one, the one with talent. And I was also the one who was willing to experiment.
It all started at schoolies. I always said I'd pretty much never try drugs, because I don't need them to escape, right? Right.
Bull. Shit.
Alcohol was my first vice. I pretty much never drank through high-school, come Schoolies and I don't think there was a day I was actually sober.
I had a mate stay, who was railing home-made "speed" [it was meth] off our coffee table. Bastard nearly OD'd on us, so we flushed the rest. Damn near saved his life.
Anyway, he offered me some, and I declined. Yes, I'm into drugs now, but I still refuse to ever touch Meth. I've seen that drug ruin peoples lives, firsthand. Things can be taken in moderation, I'm a big believer in that, however I do not believe that Meth fits that description. Psychosis is not cool, mmkay?
So, what does he have as well? Pot. Took my first toke, which was fun. It was a real light-headed high [took it a really weird way: cut the side out of a can, and burnt the bud on the mouthpiece of the can. That was fun as, we started spouting shit [we were in a cupboard inside a cupboard, inside a cupboard. Crazy stuff]. That was one fun night. I'd go and charge hard down at the party on nothing but 5 shots of straight scotch [alcohol makes me move]. Great week!
After that, I was interested. I knew a lot about drugs, but I wanted to know more. I've always been an inquisitive person, and I wanted to know what this stuff did to you, what the risks were, and how to take things safely.
This brings me to now. I'm an experienced Codeine taker now, having it about twice a month. Enjoy it a lot, 250-300mg doses now. Music sounds great, just chilling in my bed.
I'm a weird one now. I stick to so-called "legal" drugs. I've done Codeine, Temazepam [our site below has a fair bit of info on it, which is handy: I struggled to find too much about it except from various threads here], and caffeine [snorted No-Doz once. Nasty!].
A mystery is a site where my and my mates put up trip reports, and information about the various legal substances we've tried. It's a wiki, and a work in progress, although we're attempting to use it as a dumping ground for everything we know.

What up C tripper...Good post, but please dont be usin DC to promote your own forum, you could list it as your home page in your profile if you want or somethin like that. Anyways, Welcome to DC, also if you want, theres plenty of places to write about all your good times n all that, you would prolly enjoy readin some of the stories we got in here since you wrote a detailed post like that as your intro .
