Codeine: The Experience

Codeine for me is more than just a drug itself. Now, granted, part of the reason I love it is the excellent euphoria that it gives me, but that's not just it. If it was I could do heroin which is more intense, tramadol which is easier to get, or nicomorphine which is virtually unheard of. All of these drugs are MUCH cheaper and last WAY longer.

For me, none of these things matter. Good codeine, regardless of price, is almost like a godsend. As a preface, I don't ever IV, nor do I ever plan to. I only use the codeine I get for oral consumption. Swallowing tylenol 3s isn't the end of the experience though.

I love entirety of it, from taking it out of the medicine cabinet, to opening the child proof top, to placing the pills in my mouth just right. Then actually swallowing it, of course, but also putting it on the side of my desk and counting how many pills i have left, to refilling my prescriptions early at the local pharmacy.

The high isn't just the codeine by itself either, its also the elation of being able to do something, even a small amount of it, that poorer and less famous people have done before me. To be taking pills in the same manner that depressed housewives, disgruntled dental patients, rebelious 14-year-olds or down and out junkies did them. Enjoying that same high. Being the king of the world, even for two hours, just like them.

Anyway, just a thought. This may be journal material.

I'm with you in every word!

Nothing beats that gentle bliss I got from Codeine.
I tried every other opiate available, been addicted to heroin for on and off, but nothing offered this kind of mood improvement, & the gentle sunny peaceful euphoria i got from Codeine.
Heroin is a massive & strong high, but a bit dirty & primitive near the Codeine if I don't fiend the strength & the nod.
btw I never had a withdrawal from codeine, even when using it at 600mg daily for months.
 
Codeine? euphoria? hmmm sounds crazy to me. Has anyone noticed the exact same thread except the context is cocaine and not codiene? I'd rather not take anything than bother with weak ass shit like codiene or tramadol..fuckin pussy shit.
 
codeine can be very very nice, especially when sold otc in pure pills, & combined with benzos & weed (definitly the best opiate to combine with weed as well)!
oh and codeine ain't tramadol.

I just had a fantasy...

...finishing sex with a girl I love, and then having her on top, still naked, shoot me up with heroin.
