What were you on suboxone for? I don't really have any experience with paxil, but I take effexor for anxiety and it actually works great.

my story was just like urs its sad i ended up having a seizure wrecked my car with my child in it i hate my life . i mix sub and benzos hoping to die now after that accident my wife left me im fuckin numb no clue what did it but something ruined my life and im ready to declare JIHAD!

I hope the doctor prescribing the paroxetine (Paxil) and clonazepam (Klonopin) knows that you are taking and attempting to taper the Suboxone. If he does, I am sure you will be fine.

clonidine will help u taper off subs. i truly believe subs are best used short term, bc less PAWS; ime long term, I get really depressed from PAWS. I think subutex would be better for long term due to the absence of naloxone.

40 8mg tabs (not film) should be plenty. what dose are u at? what is ur schedule? how long have u been on it?

why Paxil? It is an SSRI. Dont dope addicts have problems with dopamine? Dopamine depression is the lack of motivation or caring/numbness/meaninglessness; whereas seratonin is for crying and feelings of sadness.

I never understood why dr. wanted to prescribe me ssri for PAWS from opiate addiction. I have found adderall and/wellbutrin pharmacologically and personally more effective for me.

However, if the Paxil helps, keep on it? Im no doctor- just wanted to make that addicts are low on dopamine and are often given ssri's -- maybe someone can explain?

I'm really not sure - I assume it's because the doctor either thinks you are also depressed and maybe the opiates were masking it? Or assumes that everyone gets depressed when they come off them? Either way, best to talk to the doc about any meds you are being prescribed I reckon - should be a 2-way conversation, hate seeing people put on stuff they didn't want or need...

JAKE THIS MIGHT BE OLD but i came off sub used benzos to ease it then i was a benzo addict so please be careful. Its very easy to get hooked and even harder to get off the shit hope it alll works ...................and btw sub withdrawl makes u sad just cry it out i was on alll them srris they make me sick klonopin helps alot just dont get hooked peace my rasta brotha!!!!!!
